Since BitTorrent bought uTorrent back in 2006, they’ve been working on a Mac version of their software but it hasn’t seen the day since yesterday.
A pre-release version of the software is now available through various torrent-download trackers.
The company says that this version should never have been leaked and they discourage Mac users from even using it since it is not stable enough to be released to the public.
The Pirate Bay
15 million surfers are using The Pirate Bay regularly to download content using the bitTorrent protocol. This news was announced by a co-founder of the site yesterday.
Also, it seems that The Pirate Bay has another project on their hands. Indeed, they are looking into movie/video streaming using a sister site called The Pirate City. You will find links to the current site and the cached Google site before it was taken down for testing.
According to the message on the home page, the site should be ready in a few days… Promising!
