Apple is doing really well with it’s iPhone 3G product in the U.S. market, selling more than 10 million units in 2008.
Since its launch, the smartphone has become the #2 best selling overall mobile handset just after Motorola’s RAZR.
The iPhone 3G has also surpassed sales of all Blackberry and Palm products to become the best selling smartphone in the U.S.
Palm
Well well, who still uses the PalmOS on a regular basis? Not many people I guess.
I remember back in the late 90s I had a monocrome (similar to the first GameBoy) Sony device that was using the PalmOS. I thought it was cool but now that we have the iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Android, PalmOS just doesn’t cut it anymore.
According to an article at MobileWhack, Palm is not willing to let go just yet. They are looking into releasing a new version of their PalmOS before the end of the year.
